Kenya police have displayed photos of three wanted gang and terror suspects who allegedly committed crimes in Mombasa and Nairobi.
The suspects are identifed as Arafat Kyalo Masai, Juma Waziri and Salim Mohamed Ahmed who are said to be armed and dangerous.
“Anyone with information on their whereabouts to please contact police on 999, 911, 112 or report to the nearest police station or post,” said a statement signed by police spokesman Charles Owino.
According to the police, the two were among Shabaab operatives believed to have escaped a police dragnet in Ng’ombeni, Kwale County, in March last year.
The group of operatives, which Waziri and Ahmed were said to belong to, had been terrorising residents of Likoni in Mombasa and Kwale County.
Hundreds of Kenyan youth are suspected to joined al-Shabaab fighters.
The group have carried out several attacks in Kenyan coastal areas and Northeastern Kenya.
Majority of al-Shabaab attacks in Kenya target non-Somali people and Christmas.
