At least one soldier from Burundi has been killed and several others wounded after landmine hit AMISOM vehicle on Wednesday.
Witnesses confirmed that the explosion damaged the vehicle and several sustained injuries.
Aseyr Siyad, a local police officer who spoke to Anadolu Agency, has confirmed the casualties.
Al-Shabaab group claimed through their radio that they had injured two African Union soldiers in the attack.
AMISOM is yet to release any statement on the attack.
Burundi has thousands of troops in Somalia who are working under the framework of African Union Mission In Somalia (AMISOM).
