Somali trade minister, Abdullahi Ali Hassan has met with Omanian counterpart, Ahmed Bin Mohamed in Muscat.
According to Somali National News Agency (Sonna), the two ministers discussed wide range issues including bilateral trade relations and means to improve the cooperation between the countries.
The meeting which was also attended by Somalia’s ambassador to Oman, Ali Ahmed (Jaylaani) and other officials also aimed at ways to cooperate in the transportation business and to find direct flights between Oman and Somalia.
Finally, Somali trade minister urged Oman authorities to help Somalia improve the quality of fish and agriculture crops.
On his side, minister Ahmed assured that his government is committed to support the horn of Africa nation.
During his visit in Oman, Somali minister toured the Oil and Gas Industry and the Internet-based cable operators.
