At least one person has been killed and another sustained serious injuries after improvised explosive device went off in an areas in Lower Shabelle region.
A donkey carry two people, a son and a father overran landmine suspected to have been planted on the roadside, leading the IED explode. The explosion occurred in Barrire town.
According to witnesses, the son died in the blast while father sustained injuries.
No group claimed the responsibility for the attack.
