For the elections to be free and fair, remove civil servants included in the list of electoral committees, federal and state governments told.
In a joint statement, Presidential candidates who have been having a meeting in Mogadishu for the last two called on the leaders of the government to rearrange the election teams by withdrawing civil servants and security agents from the committees.
The twelve presidential aspirants are expected to issue communique after the conclusion of their three-day meeting in the capital.
Previously they threatened to boycott the upcoming elections citing interference by the incumbent President Mohamed Farmaajo.
The candidates who include ex-presidents Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and immediate former PM Hassan Khaire said they would not take part in the upcoming poll unless the membership of the elections committee is reviewed.
